Biden’s support for Israel’s war on Gaza has undercut his liberal domestic agenda, may cost him and the Democrats the election in November, and puts him and them on the wrong side of history.
NBC News reported back in March:
The Biden campaign is organizing a number of “larger-scale events over the coming weeks,” according to a source familiar with the planning, “reaching voters where they are, including on college campuses.”
I don’t think so.

Faculty members are calling on Morehouse College to rescind its invitation to Joe Biden to speak at its 2024 commencement: "Any college or university that gives its commencement stage to President Biden at this moment is endorsing genocide." Here’s the statement issued today by faculty and staff members.

A CBS News/YouGov poll released Monday found that, although Biden and Harris have made addressing climate change a centerpiece of their administration, only 10% of the people who say they think climate change is a very important issue had heard or read a lot about what the administration has accomplished, and 49% said they had read not much or nothing about it.
This news should come as no surprise to the Democratic leadership managing Biden’s non-campaign for reelection. They figure that with student protests raging across the nation’s campuses over the US-supported Israeli war on Gaza, the often incoherent Biden should at best lay low and hope that Trump and the Republicans lose the election on their own.
Given the current situation and the untenable war policy of the administration, they may be right in muffling Biden.
It’s not just about issues, like climate change or jobs. It’s about hiding Biden.
According to NBC News, the president's team is deploying tactics to protect him against anti-war critics, like hosting smaller events and withholding their precise locations from the media and the public to minimize disruptions. The campaign is applying the guarded approach to its marquee fundraiser this month with Biden and former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Organizers are discussing whether to hire a private company to vet attendees.
The strategy shift is driven by concern that the protests get more attention than the events’ messages and showcase divisions within the Democratic Party over Biden’s support for Israel in its war against Hamas.
After the party line shifts, Pelosi tells her pal Netanyahu to ‘resign.’
What could hurt Netanyahu’s feelings more than being told by his good buddy and vintage American warmonger, Nancy Pelosi, to resign?
Former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on PM Netanyahu to resign in an interview with Irish broadcaster RTÉ. "We recognize Israel's right to protect itself. We reject the policy and the practice of Netanyahu — terrible. What could be worse than what he has done in response?" Pelosi said, adding: "He should resign, he's ultimately responsible." — Haaretz
What could be worse is making US taxpayers pay for it.
Pelosi herself was heckled and called a “war criminal” during an appearance at University College Dublin in Ireland’s capital last week. Video by College Tribune co-editor Hugh Dooley shows Martha Ni Riada, president of the college students’ union, called “Pelosi is a Zionist and war criminal,” before she is bundled out of the room.
The former House Speaker has been among the loudest supporters of Netanyahu’s assault on Gaza. She’s also been a rabid critic (echoing Netanyahu), of the student protests. In an interview in January, Pelosi even called on the FBI to investigate peaceful protesters pressuring the Biden administration to support a ceasefire in Gaza.
“For them to call for a ceasefire is Mr Putin’s message,” Pelosi said during an interview on CNN’s State of the Union. “Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what he would like to see. Same thing with Ukraine. It’s about Putin’s message. I think some of these protesters are spontaneous, organic, and sincere. Some, I think, are connected to Russia.”
