Biden should cancel his meeting with Netanyahu. This war criminal shouldn't be allowed to deplane in D.C.

The DNC next month in Chicago should be a wild one. Will the Democratic Party implode?
My brief exchange with the great Rev. William Barber
Rev. Barber: Millions voted for Biden/Harris as one ticket—in 2020 & again in the primary. A Vice President exists to step in when a President steps down. Dems need to follow the succession plan that’s in place or never complain again that their opponents undermine democracy.
Mike Klonsky @mikeklonsky
Rev. — Pres. Biden hasn't "stepped down." This isn't a "succession plan." It's an election.

Even though President Biden has endorsed Vice President Harris to replace him at the top of the ticket, recent polls find little difference between how she and Biden stack up against Donald Trump. In a Washington Post average of 11 post-debate polls, Trump edged out Harris by 1.5 percentage points, only slightly less than his 1.9-point lead over Biden in the same polls. — Washington Post
However, I’m ignoring the polling, especially in the key swing states until things settle down a bit and the Democrat’s nominee is assured.

Former President Barack Obama endorsed an open Democratic primary process at the convention next month — less than an hour after former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton said the two were backing Harris.
“I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges,” Obama said in a statement, which did not mention Harris. — Politico

Vice President Harris, you need to go to Michigan and make a major speech as you stand with Arab and Jewish voters from Detroit and Dearborn and declare an end to the U.S. funding Netanyahu’s war in Gaza. — Now, We Beat Trump.

“If you think there is consensus among the people who want Joe Biden to leave that they will support Kamala — Vice President Harris — you would be mistaken. I’m in these rooms. I see what they say in conversations. A lot of them are not just interested in removing the president. They are interested in removing the whole ticket.” — Instagram Live

We must defeat Donald Trump. VP Kamala Harris is a proven, qualified leader ready to move our country forward. She has my endorsement. I look forward to working with her to realize a permanent ceasefire, immigration reform, and a bold agenda that centers on working families. — X
On the latest episode of Hitting Left, which aired Friday on WLPN FM in Chicago, Brother Fred and I talk latest Democratic Party happenings with former IL Congresswoman Marie Newman. You can listen to the entire show here.
Does Dr. Reverend William Barber II think that stepping down and resigning before the end of the term and stepping down as candidate for reelection mean the same thing in terms of line of succession?
Why should Biden cancel his meeting with Netanyahu? If those two don't belong together, who does? No. That might in some way would obscure the fact that there's not dimes worth of difference between the two of them. And there's nothing Biden can ever do to redeem himself, even if he thought he had done anything wrong, which he most assuredly does not and never will.
